Pursuit of Yellow Retreat 2019
Yellow. The only color that actually excites the cones in your eyes, and heightens awareness and brain activity.
Yellow is the color of original thought and curiosity. Yellow is creative. Yellow seeks to communicate and helps make decisions. And yellow is full of optimism, cheerfulness, confidence, and originality.
Welcome to the 2nd In the Pursuit of Yellow Retreat! This two-night getaway* is an escape, and a finding. To let go, and to lean in. To breathe openly. And to simply be.
Come be a part of a space where you will find community with other adult women-identifying guests who see value in connection. Bring a friend. Make a new one. Leave the busy of your life and take a weekend just for you.
We will take time to honor the struggles that have gotten us to the point of needing this rest, while also using the struggles as a framework for shifting our lens to the possible. To the Next. To the inner individual truths.
2019 REtreat Focus
At the 2019 In Pursuit of Yellow Retreat we will be focusing inward and inviting participants to work through rooted ideas of identity and the origin of personal values. We will explore shame and healthy ways to communicate needs. At the retreat, we will use group workshops, private writing time, movement through yoga, and a supportive community to bolster each person, in effort to return home feeling aligned, nurtured, and a little more in love with ourselves.
Guest Yoga Instructor
We are thrilled to have Tanabeth Miller joining us for the 2019 IPOY Retreat! Tanabeth is the owner of Est'age, Inc, a multifaceted health, wellness, and yoga studio located in Stanton, Michigan. Tana will be leading the group in yoga flow sessions designed specifically for our topics to help with focus and connection.
Tanabeth has been studying health and wellness since 1999 and is licensed and certified in a number of areas, including massage, reiki, and yoga. Tanabeth teaches Power Vinyasa, HIIT Yoga- Shred Inspired, Barre, Slow Flow, Easy Flow, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Meditation and Chair Yoga and Ariel.
Tana is a student of self love and strives to remain connected and humble, seeking opportunities to find and show gratitude. We feel so honored to have her energy and expertise available to us throughout the retreat, and especially to have her offer several yoga sessions on Saturday and Sunday.
**You do not need to be a skilled yogi, or even familiar with yoga to participate and benefit from Tana's sessions at the retreat. Tana is skilled in helping all fitness and comfort levels and encourage you to come with an open mind and heart if this will be your first experience with yoga. If you do not have a yoga mat to bring with you, please let Ariel know once you register.
