Yellow is the color of original thought and curiosity. Yellow is creative. Yellow seeks to communicate and helps make decisions. And yellow is full of optimism, cheerfulness, confidence, and originality.
Welcome to the first In the Pursuit of Yellow Retreat! This two-night getaway* is an escape, and a finding. To let go, and to lean in. To breathe openly. And to simply be.
Come be a part of a space where you will find community with other adult women-identifying guests who see value in connection. Bring a friend. Make a new one. Leave the busy of your life and take a weekend just for you.
We will take time to honor the struggles that have gotten us to the point of needing this rest, while also using the struggles as a framework for shifting our lens to the possible. To the Next. To the inner individual truths.

Just yards from the shores of Lake Michigan, our retreat home gives us room to relax, space to explore, and the freedom to unwind. Group meals, time for community and relaxation, and exercises that will stimulate your body and mind. Take this weekend to nurture yourself and reconnect with the pieces of yourself that make you feel most alive.
Fire pit, hot tub, communal kitchen, and the fresh outdoor wonder that the shores of Lake Michigan are known for.
Your Home Away From Home
Bring your comfy clothes, cozy slippers, hat and mittens. October in Michigan is lovely, but will require a warm layer and jacket if you would like to spend time outside. We'll be spending some time on the beach for meditation and community if weather permits. Plan also to bring a bathing suit to enjoy the hot tub if you desire.

Retreat ticket includes lodging and food. Ticket does not include transportation.
Small but Mighty
Space at this retreat is limited and space will not be reserved or held. Refunds on attendance are not possible after August 31, 2019.
If traveling from outside of the area, the closest airports are Chicago, Midway, and Grand Rapids, Michigan. There is also a close Amtrak station in New Buffalo, Michigan. Contact event organizer at Ariel@doulasofchicago.com to coordinate pick up from the train.
